Therapy with an Asterisk*

ManMade Mentors is a Bozeman therapy practice for teens, college students, adults, couples, and families who are navigating life transitions and trying to find a deeper purpose in their lives.

Feeling lost, overwhelmed, depressed, or anxious in your day-to-day life can mean you are on the cusp of a life transition – what a great opportunity! We help clients work through the areas where they struggle, whether they involve personal, school, relational, addiction, or career challenges.

We believe that once you identify what you want and know what stands in your way and how to overcome it, you are more motivated to work towards your goals.

Meet Our Counseling Team

ManMade Mentors is passionate about creating a vibrant clinical and learning environment where emerging and experienced counselors collaborate.

While each therapist has their own style, the most important piece of our method is relationship development. We build a trusting environment so that you want to share, explore, and grow with our support.

Our Therapy Approach

In traditional therapy, there is a hierarchy in the relationship. The counselor is the expert, and the client has a problem that needs to be “fixed.” In sessions, we draw from our flaws and life experiences to relate and offer guidance. Our office is a space where you are heard, validated, challenged, and encouraged.

By taking a holistic approach to counseling, we treat you as a whole person, exploring all areas of your life and not only symptoms in isolation. You are more than your diagnosis and it does not define you and what you are capable of.

Why It’s Unique

*We redefine the therapeutic relationship by incorporating the tenets of mentorship. Mentoring prioritizes building an active and dynamic relationship and sharing interests and life experiences to promote learning and growth.

Therapy doesn’t have to take place in an office. Part of our method is developing positive connections through interactive activities and the outdoors. Instead of sitting across from you, we walk side by side.
